Caroline Avnit

As a writer, Caroline is inspired by relationships, nature and the beauty found in the simplest moments of human connection and our relationship to the world around us. She feels it is often the small, almost insignificant moments and objects in our lives that actually are the most meaningful. Caroline has written poetry and fiction since childhood. With a background in Psychology and Comparative Religious Studies, she has always been fascinated in our human connection to each other and the search for meaning and belonging in life.

As a Christian, Caroline is passionate about prayer, believing her calling is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. Combining her love of words with writing prayers is a humbling and beautiful experience that she hopes will be of benefit to others.

In April 2024 she was awarded the role of Stamford’s Poet Laureate.

She lives in the beautiful town of Stamford with her husband, two daughters and French Bulldog.
