Brian U. Garrison

Brian U. Garrison lives under a tall, leafy tree in Portland, Oregon. His poetry has appeared in Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov's, Science Write Now, Haikuniverse, Ember: A Journal of Luminous Things, and elsewhere. His second chapbook, Micropoetry for Microplanets (Space Cowboy Books), celebrates the smallish to medium rocks that circle our sun. His first chapbook, New Yesterdays New Tomorrows, holds forgotten wishes, dreams of flight, and robots of many sizes.

Brian once thought he would study computer science and artificial intelligence until he decided that neuroscience and meat-brain intelligence were much more interesting. He now serves as Managing Editor for Eye to the Telescope. When he's not writing or reading, you might find him playing ultimate, deciding which spices to put into the pot of lentils, or strumming one of the two songs he knows on the banjolele.
