Adey Wassink

I grew up liberal Jewish, then became a conservative evangelical, then

became an inclusive Christian. I have been Senior Pastor of Sanctuary

Community Church in Iowa City, Iowa, since 1999. Sanctuary tells the

story of how I, with my husband (and staff pastor) Tom, and our friend

and instigator in all things queer, Katie, led our church out of an

excluding denomination into the joyful liberation of welcome.
