Esther Marshall

Esther Marshall is a children’s author changing the game in the early years children’s book market. Esther has held many senior roles in Diversity and Inclusion. In 2020 Esther went through the tragedy of loosing her younger sister to suicide after a long battle with her mental health. Esther has now created Sophie Says, an idea Esther developed with her sister, which is a children’s brand helping children of today form the best of themselves tomorrow. She is on a mission to create a wider societal culture change and reduce the stigma around mental health starting with early years children right up to NHS and governments. Esther has gained national media coverage including the Huffington Post, Sky News, The BBC, Daily Mail, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire as well as multiple parent media such as Mother and Baby, Mumsnet, City Kids and Toddle about. She has won numerous awards including the prestigious UK Governments Point of Light Award, Just Giving Influencer of the Year Award and Runner up for Women of the Future. Esther has been invited to speak around the world at events such as Cannes Lions Festival, One Young World and Buckingham Palace and provides keynote speeches to businesses and many schools.
