Veejay Steele

Okay, so this is actually an autobiography. Better yet, it's just news. None of which is prewritten. I am sitting here writing whatever comes to mind right now. 

I'm Veejay Steele, performer known as, DecaGon AKA -Gon, or Deca-Gon. I'm a RAP artist, singer, songwriter, voice actor, and aspiring actor, and as you know, In Via/The Way, is the first book I've written. 

About the book... SPOILER ALERT! - In Via, was written because of two reasons: During a phone conversation with my brother {friend of 30+ years) I was asked, "Vee, what do you believe?", I replied, "bruh, you ain't ready for that. You don't want to know what I believe". After spending hours on the phone explaining what I believe in precise detail, Kal-El (my brother) said, "Wow. Man, I needed to hear that"... as well as other things that you'll have to ask him about. So, because of that, and the fact that I was in a place and space mentally and emotionally that caused me to use The Way (exactly as I've written it), I figured why not just write it all down? And, I promised The Mother that I would share it with the world after I had. If you know me, you know, I ALWAYS KEEP MY PROMISES. 

Now, if it's at all up to me, I'd rather be known for being an extremely successful voice-over actor who managed to keep his anonymity. Still possible? (shrugs) 

Over the last couple of (literally 2 and a half) years, I've - and this is not hyperbole - let go and let God. Since then… A long-time friend, fellow artist, and basically label-mate, Nichelle Colvin put DJ Greenguy in touch with me and he's got me performing again! Like, on stage RAPPING. I know it’s tacky to put LOL, but I’m laughing. Cause I swear, this guy, Greenguy — we haven’t known each other long, yet he’s like a new best friend. G-Double (DJ Greenguy) in turn has me in contact with another amazing spirit and energy, K. Davis The Hitman, who’s been talking with us about touring. My Uncle, the incomparable 'Professor Amos' who’s been a powerful and consistently positive force in my life since I was a teenager, said, "Send me the video footage of the performance" from the August 17th, 2024 show. Additionally, my book became available for sale here on Amazon on the 21st of August - just 4 days ago. There are other things to mention, just as significant, but since they have yet come to fruition, I won't.
