As a young man, I had no interest in aviation. It was only when I encountered a professional airline pilot one day and his exuberant description of aviation as a career that I became intrigued. That intrigue eventually led me to a years-long career of adventure and excitement. During my incredible aviation career, I have flown many different aircraft types, from old WWII aircraft to four-engine airliners and sleek modern-day jet aircraft. Many continents, cultures, and experiences have enriched my life, filling it with cherished memories of a well-lived professional life. That serendipitous pilot encounter many years ago resulted in the germination and realization of a wonderfully gratifying and joy-filled career. One never knows!
