Uncle Jerry

Meet Uncle Jerry, the father of author Liz Fahey. He was an award winning storyteller who captivated everyone, especially kids, with his imaginative tales. When Liz's sisters and her were young, he would entertain them and their friends with NOLO adventures, resulting in his familial nickname, "Uncle Jerry!" Each child would play a role—one would “THUMP... thump, thump,” others would call, “NOLLOOO!” and many might do voices. We adored the playful chaos.

In 2015, he passed away unexpectedly, leaving these stories untold to the world. Though he drafted a few, like 'Danger in the Hills', he mainly set the foundation for others to tell their own NOLO tales.

Each of his kids took these stories to heart in their own way. Liz Fahey loved the world of the NOLO and chose to follow in her dad's footsteps—creating her own stories set in the NOLO world like 'Flood in the Desert'. Thus, his story, 'Danger in the Hills,' will be the first of many NOLO books to come.

We hope you enjoy the NOLO world!
