Robert Rosenthal

Robert started writing 'On West Green' in 2020, following a career in education, first as a secondary school and sixth form Geography teacher in inner London, and later as a teacher-educator at the University of Sussex. 'On West Green' is his first novel, set in this Tottenham neighbourhood of north London where he lived for over 20 years. It is a book of contemporary urban fiction with inter-leaving storylines which follow the characters in their individual searches for belonging. It also touches on deeper geographical themes: migration, urban change, community, 'place', the importance of urban parks and peoples' relationship with nature. He is now working on a second novel.
