Since producing her first newspaper as a six-year-old with construction paper and crayons, Ann Peterson knew she wanted to be a writer. She grew up to become a newspaper sportswriter, eventually trading in Super Bowls and Olympics for travel, food and entertainment writing. Today, she writes about the lives of residents in a senior community where she is the communications director.
While non-fiction writing has paid the bills, historical romance (especially the Regency era) is where she lives when her imagination refuses to stay quiet. In the real world, the San Francisco Bay Area is where she lives with her husband, two daughters and two poodle-mix pups.
