TBdG used to be a regular stick, until one day, somehow, who knows when, he became a walking stickbug who likes to write poetry books. Waking up earlier than early every day, heart and mind full of past-present-future percussion kicking his eyelids opened through his feet, after a mid-sleep-search for rhythms of broken-off syllables; awakened now, grabbing a pen and all set to begin turning lightbulbs into ink... also, born to be jumping turnstiles, pastor toddymanners, from Purple Church of Jesus, creating, in this present, an unapologetically LGBTQIA+ affirming spirituality-safe-place with a mission of removing the toxic soul-sludge caused by Spiritual Abuse that is inflicted on our community; with the goal of helping to heal from the spirit-shunting PTSD we've experienced from that generational abuse, while clamping it off at its sources for the generations who will be arriving after us.
