Traci Martin

I've always loved writing, even as a kid. I tried to write a book in high school but didn't get very far! Fast forward to 2022, and I was prompted by a Facebook friend, Hillary Kigar-Aspin. She had written Deer Camp Love, and asked who was going to write the next hunting love story. I thought, why not me? Most of the book was written in the winter of 2023, when my husband, Chris, dropped me and two of our dogs off in Alabama to live in a camper at Camp Travelhick for a few months, and it was the perfect place to hole up and write a book! This is the first and only book I've written. I'm not sure if there will be more, but I really enjoyed the entire process. I currently live in Maine with Chris and our two Great Danes, Jayne and Sulley. We have two adult children, Luke who married his love Madison in the summer of 2023, and Riley, who married her love Trey, in the summer of 2024. We have several businesses together, and although I spend a lot of time doing the bookkeeping, at heart I am a Writer and Human Design Specialist.
