Katy Leckenby

​Katy Leckenby is a Senior AAC Consultant at the Ace Centre, a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals with complex communication needs through assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). With a 17-year teaching career spanning primary and special education, Katy has worked extensively with students with autism spectrum conditions, moderate to profound learning difficulties, and complex needs. She co-authored "AAC and Aided Language in the Classroom," aiming to empower educators with practical strategies to support learners with speech, language, and communication needs. Katy is committed to removing barriers and ensuring inclusive education for all students.​
