About the Author

Hello, I’m Mark Coats, a Rancher who worked his way up through the Ranks of the livestock industry, a rarity within the Ranching world. From cowboying to management and finally ownership. My brief experience as a bureaucrat, strengthened my resolve to endeavor to reach my goals.

Animals have always been a part of my life. My experiences, often put me into remote areas which instilled an awareness to the natural world.

Many mentors have shown me pieces of what I have learned as well as Nature itself.

The natural behavioral characteristics of animals are steadfast responses. Animal’s actions don’t change with fashion, or with what’s popular, nor political correctness. They only have their species behavioral tendencies. I am not a creator of anything new, I’m only relaying my experiences within the Natural World.

These behavioral actions were learned through years of experience. Through my writings, the endeavor is an effort to share my experiences and a way to mitigate predatory risks if those risks are of a concern.
