Sam Carter

Hi, I'm Sam Carter. I write for the kids who ask "but why?" one more time than most.

I create the Curious Explorers books: true stories of real people who noticed something small and followed it somewhere big, told as adventures, not lessons. They are written for curious readers ages 8-12, and for the grown-ups who would like reading time to feel less like homework and more like an expedition.

The books follow Leo Parker, his discovery drone Blink, and four friends who each carry a different kind of curiosity. Along the way you will find history, science, sports, and hands-on experiments you can actually try at home.

My mission is simple: turn every "why?" into a "let's find out." The world is bigger than it appears, and most people stop looking too soon.

Look closer. Your first mission is waiting at Curious Explorers HQ.
