Maryna Kuzmenko

Dr Maryna Kuzmenko writes evidence-first field guides on artificial intelligence in agriculture, for growers and agronomists deciding what precision agriculture technology is worth buying: what it does on a working farm, what it costs, and what it pays back.

She is co-founder and CEO of Petiole, a UK company building computer vision tools for plant phenotyping and food quality assurance, and author of the AI in Agriculture series, beginning with The Precision Vineyard. Her free Udemy course on AI in agriculture has reached more than 3,000 students in 119 countries.

Ukraine-born and UK-based, she holds a PhD in Business Law and UPOV certification in plant variety protection, which is why her books take farm data ownership and regulation seriously. She won a 2026 Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award and is an Oxford Farming Conference Inspire Fellow 2026.

Maryna is always delighted to know more about her readers.
