Augusto C. Cespedes Jr

Augusto was born and raised in Cypress, Texas and joined the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in March of 2003. Once graduating from Hospital Corps School and Field Medical Service School, he was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii and attached with the 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines. He was deployed to Afghanistan from June 2005 and returned to Hawaii in January of 2006, then deploying to Iraq in August of 2006. Once returning back to Hawaii, he was promoted to Petty Officer Third Class and just months later, stationed at Lakehurst, NJ to complete his enlistment.

He holds a master's degree in nursing and currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey.

He honors the lives of PVT Heath D. Warner, HN (FMF) Matthew G. Conte and LCPL Daniel T. Morris.
