Michael Carlo Altman

Michael Carlo Altman (goes by “Carlo”) is a dedicated father, is passionate about serving to better people's lives (works for the U.S. Department of Agriculture), and is an aspiring author and artist. Goodnight Farm was his first book, having only published before professionally in ecology research and federal reporting. He has a passion for supporting conservation, particularly conservation in agriculture that enables farms to be more sustainable and that benefits the soil, water, air, plants, and animals across the landscape. Additionally, he strives both personally and professionally to advance social and environmental justice, working toward equity in protection from environmental and health hazards and in access to the decision-making process to have a healthy environment to live, learn, and work.
