David Nottingham

So, who is David Nottingham? I was born in England and emigrated to Australia by ship aged eight. I have been an active musician since my teens, playing nine instruments, ten if sung-voice is included. I arranged, produced, and performed in a seven-musician production of Tubular Bells in the Adelaide Fringe Festival that received four-star reviews. I am a long-distance walker, climbing Ben Nevis and walking the Hadrian’s Wall track and much of the 1200-kilometre Heysen Trail in South Australia. I have qualifications and long experience in Electronic and Communications Engineering plus two Arts degrees - English Literature/Music with Honours in Creative Writing and History/Classics with Honours in Crusade History, plus my recently completed degrees in Criminology and Law-and-Society, where I received academic awards for the quality of my writing and my overall achievements. My book, Just a Man, has a musical reference integral to the novel’s plot, and was two and a half years in the researching and writing. I hope that it will be as entertaining and intriguing for readers as it was for the writer.
