Kip Aider is the pen name of Frances Prentice. Kip stands for Kids In Print, and Frances uses this pen name to publish books that she writes in collaboration with young people.
Her first book, Guinea Pig League:Captured was written with a group of four eleven year olds. It is a junior chapter book. The professional illustrations have been created by her 23 year old son.
Frances has enjoyed writing even since she was in primary school and has been inspired by people who have been published at a young age.
She is keen to give other young people confidence to write and see themselves as authors. Frances is just beginning her own journey as a published author (in her fifties) and she loves to share all she is learning with others on the same path. She is currently working with a new group of eleven year olds on a fantasy fiction middle-grade novel.
