JERRI TUCK

In 1957 Jerri Tuck had a dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ. Before accepting the Lord as her Savior, she rode motorcycles with the notorious Hells Angels in California. Meeting Jesus changed the direction of her life.

Jerri and her husband, Charlie, moved to GA in 1974. She was a feature writer and news reporter for the Macon Telegraph, a disc-jockey for WVMG and eventually sold real estate for twenty-eight years.

For over 65 years Jerri has been involved in various outreach ministries, including child evangelism, prison ministry, foreign missions and spreading God’s Word through Bible Reading Marathons.

For the past twenty-one years Jerri has been the Bible Reading Marathon Facilitator in Bleckley County. Her goal is to see a Bible Reading Marathon in every county in Georgia.

Jerri has authored a challenging book about evangelism entitled, “Gone Fishin’”. Jerri has written three additional books: “Patchwork Family” which gives the story of how the Lord brought two broken families together; “Just Jerri,” a compilation of some of her best newspaper columns, and “Everything by Prayer,” a chronicle of the many answers to prayer she has seen through the years.

When God said, "Who will go?" her response was immediate... "Here am I, Lord. Send me."

(Jerri and her husband Charlie have nine children, twenty-three grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. They make their home in Cochran, GA. Charlie was the Chief Appraiser for Bleckley County and is also retired.)
