Alejandro Ruiz Rivera

DR. ALEJANDRO RUIZ RIVERA is a technologist and science enthusiast currently working for the Queensland Government in Brisbane, Australia, and a member of the ASTROLUCA research group in Cali, Colombia.

He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, in 2003, and his Master's and Doctoral degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong in Australia in 2016. Alejandro also graduated with a Master of Science in Astrophysics from the University of Southern Queensland in 2023.
