Michael Pemberton

Michael Pemberton is an aviator, consultant, and spiritual thinker whose life has been shaped by both the skies above and the questions beyond.

Educated in England and now a long-standing Australian citizen, he was born in Wales and has also lived in the United States, travelling extensively across North America, Asia and the Middle East. These experiences have shaped a reflective and global perspective on life, death, and the nature of consciousness.

After studying computer science and pure mathematics, he pursued a successful international career in information technology and management consulting, leading major professional services operations across Asia and Oceania. His aviation experience spans over 1,600 hours of flying time as a command-instrument-rated pilot and more than 700 skydives during the early decades of the sport.

These life chapters were marked by personal loss: the deaths of more than twenty friends and colleagues in aviation and skydiving accidents. That journey, both professional and personal, led to deep reflections on mortality, consciousness, and the enduring question of what may lie beyond.
