Janette Lart

Born in Italy, in 1965, Janette Lart publishes in 2020, 'Chunks of Poems', a collection of short poems, in audiobook. After a month, 'Buon giorno, mondo, ci sono anch'io!'. In September she publishes 'Cyberstalker, diario di Erika', in the same year, the poetry collection 'Coffee & Tea'. In November 2021 it is published the poetry collection 'Elegiadramente'. In February 2022 the romance 'Quei fiori' is released and in October 2022 the second part of it 'Il cordone di fiori', evaluated and accepted for the exhibition in May 2023 by Il Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino.

In 2023 she publishes 'Among Petals and Thorns', in English, exhibited in the showcase of London Book Fair 2023. Then 'Home, casa' is released in multilingual edition, ranking 93^/100 on Amazon and presented at Bologna Children's Book Fair 2024.

In 2024 the new edition of 'Among Petals and Thorns' is exhibited at Frankfurt Book Fair, furthermore 'Chunks of Poems' paperback edition is released. In 2025 'Le mie pagine di Autori' is published and accepted for the exhibition in May 2025 by Il Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino. Then the English edition of 'My pages of Authors' and 'Cyberstalker, Erika's Diary' are released.

She has received numerous awards literature for poetry and novel:

- 8^ in the Literary Award of Città di Castello 2020, Poetry section with "Coffee & Tea"

- Special Prize in the International Poetry Competition 2020, I colori dell'anima, with the poem 'What colour are Fall leaves in Summer?'

- Honorable mention for poetry 'Tocco di mare' at the National Competition "Fiori D'Inverno" 2020-Livorno

- Honorable mention with the short-poetry "Canto di un colibrì in inverno, National Competition La forza dell'amore, 2021-Messina

- Special Recognition for the poem 'La primordiale dimora', Besio 1860-Savona, 2021

- Special Mention of the Jury for the poem 'Fiore d'Autunno', National Competition -Livorno, 2021

Graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature in Catania in 1988, she holds two two-year post-graduate Master's degrees in Naples and Catania and a Master's degree in Education in Rome. She obtained a Cambridge Language Methodology Certificate and a European Certificate on Entrepreneurship. She attended an English language course at the Leeds School of English, obtaining a special Star Student 2018 award for interpersonal skills.

In 2020 she attended the course 'Unseen Poetry and the creative process' at the University of Reading. In 2022 she was awarded the title of Dame of the Order of Dante Alighieri. She attended a two-week course "How to read a poem" at University of York, May 2024
