Claudia Fernandes

Claudia Fernandes is originally from Rio de Janeiro and has been living abroad since 2007.

Under the pseudonym Chris Gomes, she writes humorous books with a Brazilian twist, such as the "Caipirinha/Chucrute" series, and publishes them in German, Portuguese, and bilingual editions.

Claudia Fernandes is also a translator, and through her independent publishing house, cgfernandes Publishing, she publishes not only Chris Gomes' books but also bilingual books, such as her translation of "Schachnovelle" - "Novela de Xadrez" by Stefan Zweig and "Max & Moritz" by Wilhelm Busch. She currently lives in Erlangen, Germany.
