Dede Gale

DeDe Gale is a proud Texan through and through, calling the beautiful hill country and the gulf coast home alongside her wonderful husband of 30 years and their lively pack of canine companions! She holds a master’s degree in public administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Administration from Wayland Baptist University.

With a rewarding career in criminal justice behind her, DeDe discovered a newfound passion for creativity and fun. Inspired by the colorful array of rubber ducks decorating her Jeep Wrangler’s dashboard, she embarked on writing her first children’s book series. At the heart of this imaginative series is Rebecca, DeDe’s great niece, whose adventurous spirit and infectious joy light up the pages. Rebecca forms an inseparable bond with her first duck, Lucky.  Lucky Duck comes to life in the pages as he shares his adventures with Rebecca and the other ducks that join him in their Ruby Red Rubicon.

DeDe embraces a multitude of hobbies, including fishing, reading, and swimming, always seeking out new adventures that promise excitement. Exploring the world from the front seat of her beloved Wrangler brings her immense happiness. Above all, DeDe cherishes the company of her abundant family and friends, who enrich her life with love and laughter.
