Shane Bryan

Shane is a science fiction author with a passion for aviation and a deep connection to the world of airports. Born in Gilbert, Arizona, in 1997, Shane has been fascinated by airplanes since childhood, inspired in part by the classic film Airport 1970, which sparked a lifelong desire to work in the airline industry.

After joining the industry at 18, Shane has spent over a decade in seven different roles, all airport or aviation-related, gaining a unique and intimate knowledge of the field. These experiences have shaped the heart of his debut novel, which blends the wonders of aviation with the small-town charm of a coastal Maine community.

In 2022, following a suggestion from his therapist to help with a mental health challenge, Shane began writing as a therapeutic outlet. What started as a personal journey soon blossomed into a full-fledged science fiction novel that reflects both his love of aviation and the quiet yet powerful stories that can unfold in tight-knit towns.
