I am inspired by my ancestry from both the Maasai tribe and the Vikings. I consider myself the ultimate melting pot filled with Joy and Gratitude and aspire to infuse that in all my writings and the art and jewelry that I make.
What do I Write?
As a passionate storyteller, I craft exciting spicy short stories, inspiring anecdotal non fiction and delightful children's books that teach kindness and tolerance .
My children books aims to engage young readers and foster a love for reading.'
Background
Books have always been my favorite possessions ever since I was reading at a high school level in first grade.
I was the youngest kid at 11 to be awarded an Art Scholarship to the Montclair Art Museum. But I am both left brain and right brain which ultimately helped me with my career choices.
At 21, I became the youngest and first minority Training Manager in the stocks and bonds department at Prudential in Newark, NJ. Over the years I climbed the Corporate Ladder and had the distinction of achieving top awards in sales, motivational training, leadership development, marketing and business building. I helped turn around companies generating over half billion dollars in revenue; and traveled the world working in secondary education, entertainment, PR, banking, beauty, insurance, restaurant and retail businesses.
LIFE AFTER CORPORATE
2007 18 years ago I came full circle and opened a shop featuring artists and artisans. That’s when I started making art and jewelry as meditation.

Fast Forward
2022 - I started KISMET Publishers which is set to release its second book by international actor Engin Akyürek.
2023 the Global Literary Society, a private facebook group was launched with members from over 20 countries. The group raised 2,000 in scholarships
2024 , I published my first book titled ZELDAS Secrets which debuted on Amazon Hot Release.
I am working on Zelda’s Secrets 2. In the meantime I will publish a nonfiction book “How to Manifest ANYTHING!” and the children's book “That’s Amazing!” Kat & Friends.
