Aj Castelletto

Aj Castelletto is an author and illustrator from the midwest who writes fantasy with heart, humor, and a healthy amount of chaos. Known for weaving deeply human characters into wildly imaginative worlds, her stories range from cozy comedic fantasy, cosmic fantasy adventures, rebellious mythology retellings, and inclusive childrens books.

As an AuDHD creator, Aj credits her neurodivergent mind as one of the greatest influences on her storytelling. Fueling unexpected plot twists, unconventional characters, strange little creatures, and worlds where being different is rarely something that needs fixing.

When she isn't writing, Aj can usually be found creating something, binge watching scifi, questioning arbitrary rules, or enthusiastically chasing whatever joy has captured her heart that week. She lives with her husband, two daughters, and enough chaos to ensure she will never run out of material.

Above all, Aj writes for readers who want their fantasy magical, their characters human, and stories unafraid of being a little bit weird.
