Ashley Burks BCBA

Ashley Burks, Ed.S., BCBA has been in the field of education as a Special Education teacher, Educational Specialist (writing educational curriculum for homeschooled children), and as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She enjoys training teachers, administration, and other staff personnel on proactive and innovative classroom management strategies.

When she's not writing, Ashley has a passion for traveling, interior design, eating (practically anything!), and drinking all of the caramel frappes the world has to offer. She lives at home with her loving and supportive husband, Landon, of 17 years. He provides the 'practically anything' food while offering amusing and sometimes useful feedback for her books.

Ashley has always had a particular love for reading, but found a gap in children's literature regarding functional behavior skills in the classroom setting. By pioneering user-friendly approaches in educational fiction, she hopes to spread knowledge ... and a bit of humor along the way.
