Daniel Stepner is a professional violinist with a half-century experience performing classical music — as soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician. He hails from Wisconsin, and studied in Chicago, in France and at Yale, where he earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree. His main work has been as a chamber musician (first violinist of the Lydian String Quartet at Brandeis University), as Concertmaster of the Handel and Haydn Soceity Orchestra (Boston), and as the Artistic Director of the Aston Magna Festival and Foundation (Massachusetts and New York)
