Lars Albaum

Lars Albaum (*1967) is a screenplay/playwright and journalist.

After school he tried unsuccessfully to start a pop star career as a drummer for strange bands like “Heroes of Progress” or “Bates Motel.” His career as an advertising and PR copywriter, which began in 1988, was far more successful. He also played records with Götz Alsmann.

Albaum has been writing scripts for TV films, sitcoms and series since 1994. This work earned him good ratings and various awards and nominations. Including the Grimme Prize and a nomination for the Golden Rose of Montreux. Together with co-author Dietmar Jacobs, he wrote various tabloid plays for Jochen Busse.

Lars Albaum lives for and with dogs. He regularly helps at the “Pro Animal” animal shelter on Gomera. Donations there are warmly welcome.
