William Tackaberry

Once, not so long ago, I was a bulletproof and cocky first responder in the natural gas industry; that however, was until the shaking started.

I had Parkinson's, and worse than that, was my self tortured view of life from this diagnosis. I went through all the normal channels of : "Why me?", then "Poor me!", followed by "Help me Lord", and finally, "It's just the new me..."

What I initially thought was the end, was instead the start of a redirection of reasoning; a restructure of a belief system, that not only saved me, but could also be a platform for others to have a new beginning in their lives as well.

My children books are narratives of the "Under-Dogs," that work past their individual difficulties. They are whimsical but with a sound moral compass, and perhaps provide a lesson or two.

Blessings, William
