Ely Johanna Patnode's lifelong passion for learning through reading has profoundly shaped her journey. Raised in Colombia, Ely always dreamed of coming to the United States. Her dream came true, and she praises the Lord for orchestrating her life, allowing her to not only live in the USA but also serve children with special needs using her degree as a Speech Pathologist. With a background in speech therapy, Ely has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of books and reading, working with children with learning disabilities in English, Spanish, and sign language.

Now residing in Langhorne, PA, Ely cherishes the opportunity to pass on her love for literature to her two young daughters, Catalina and Ariella. As a full-time mom, she uses her passion and knowledge to inspire her children, ensuring they understand the joy and power of reading. Ely's journey from a young girl in Colombia to a dedicated mother and accomplished professional in the United States is a testament to her faith and determination.

Writing books has always been a dream in Ely's heart. With "Sheepy Deepie: Sheepy's Interactive Adventures," that dream has come true, inspired by her daughter's favorite stuffed animal.
