Satyam Singh

Satyam Singh is a 20-year-old author and student entrepreneur, currently the Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Startly Innovations, working on plant-based biodegradable alternatives to plastic for a more sustainable India. Raised in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and now based in Bengaluru, his journey reflects a belief that powerful ideas often emerge far from big cities.

He began his entrepreneurial journey while still in school, with his first venture Shortout being recognized among the Top 100 Global Student-Led Startups by Lemon Ideas in collaboration with TiE and IIM Nagpur.

As a writer and storyteller, Satyam is the author of the poetry book From Classroom to Career and the novel Secrets, Shaadi & Strong Coffee. He has also contributed to 10+ anthology books as a solo and featured author. Alongside writing, he is actively working on OTT-focused documentary projects and screenwriting a reality-based series titled Story of Silence, exploring social friction and human resilience through a fresh narrative lens going to release soon.

His work has earned him honors including Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 (AIBCF), Best Author – Men’s Poetry (2024), and the Aspiring Entrepreneur Award (GCU & Maldives Government). He is a TEDx speaker and a two-time Indian Book of Records achiever, continuing to tell stories that aim to spark thought, empathy, and quiet change.
