Lynne Fireheart grew up absorbed in tales of trolls under bridges, villages of indomitable Gauls, spiky-haired Belgian reporters, famous fives, and many others, with her tastes shaped by Enid Blyton, Hugh Lofting, Stephen King, Piers Anthony and Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman.
Her all-time favorite book is The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley, and cites Alex Bledsoe as her current favorite author.
Since becoming a mother, Lynne has struggled to find the time and energy to read and write consistently but continues trying to get back into the groove of 2006 where she read over 80 books, ran multiple personal blogs, and started her novel about a Malaysian vampire in Chicago.
In the meantime, she advocates fiercely for her children in school, works industriously as a massage therapist, healer and Spinal Flow practitioner, and dives determinedly into Shamanic Breathwork, priestess initiations, and other self-discovery practices.
In what little spare time she has, Lynne enjoys solving the daily Wordle, inhaling Indian and Thai food, and watching police procedural shows. She is also a fan of the Oxford comma.
