When I am not working with clients or writing, I like to spend my time watching true crime shows while I try to solve the mystery like a true detective! Human behavior has always fascinated me and how one person can be driven to commit atrocious acts upon another. I grew up in a small town in Iowa and was a bit sheltered to the complexities of the world. After creating social-emotional programs to help children make better choices and live up to their potential, implementing these same strategies into my books was second nature.
