Gary W. Bryant

Gary W. Bryant began his writing journey as a child in Southeastern Kentucky, where he won a creative writing award as a senior at Whitley County High School. At the University of Kentucky, he refined his craft under the guidance of notable mentors such as Gurney Norman and Ed McClanahan. Although his early career shifted from fiction to journalism, where he worked as a reporter, editor, and magazine editor-in-chief, Bryant's passion for writing never waned. He later became the communications director for the Kentucky Retail Federation and founded a publishing company focused on marketing and training newsletters. In 2021, Bryant returned to fiction with his debut novel, Ace of Hearts, released in July 2022. The novel blends mystery, friendship, and romance. His sequel, Ace Johnson. Bryant’s writing style is characterized by its simplicity and deep character development.
