Dan R Walker Major Retired Jr

Dan R. Walker Jr. is a retired army officer who honorably served in the United States Army, completing four tours in iraq. A military brat, Dan considers his home town to be Abilene Tx. and developed a strong sense of duty from a young age. Dan now resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He teaches Spanish and English as a New Language, helping students from diverse backgrounds navigate and excel int heir academic pursuits. Dan is deeply connected to their family roots. Married to a wonderful partner from Guanajuato, Mexico, they are the proud parents of two children. In addition to his teaching career, Dan has ventured into the literary world with the publication of his first book, "The Terp." This work is a testament to his experiences, dedication and commitment to bridging cultures and languages. Dan's journey from the military to the classroom, and now to authorship, is a reflection of his unwavering commitment to service, education, and family.
