Ben Raterman

Ben Raterman lives in Virginia and writes novels and short stories overlooking a creek that bounces over large rocks and slides into a lazy river. Born in Hawaii, he traveled with his family to India, where his high school studies and a mix of cultures triggered a desire to write. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he spent time in the Peace Corps. His later employment had him selling ice cream from a Good Humor truck, remodeling fractured houses, engineering Naval combat systems, and building wheelchair ramps. He now devotes most of his time to writing but still straps on a tool belt when there is a need.
