Earl Carter

I am a photojournalist living in the Southern Appalachian region of the United States. I have documented the people and culture of the region most of my life. I am dedicated to helping preserve the history of my region. I am a former UPI Photographer of the Year in Tennessee and a multiple award winner in the Tennessee Press Association Awards. I have worked at The Kingsport (TN) Times-News, The Miami (FL) Herald, and The Huntsville (AL) Times during my career. I have also been published in many national news magazines.
