Peni Clark is a retired kindergarten teacher whose passion for inspiring young minds never retired.

After many joyful years in the classroom, Peni now pours her heart into writing picture books that help children believe in themselves, show kindness to others, and discover that they are stronger and braver than they think.

Her stories are filled with warmth, imagination, and gentle life lessons that encourage young readers to persevere, stay curious, and never give up—because every child has the power to do something important.

From adventurous safaris with baby animals to courageous pups and unforgettable imaginary friends, Peni’s books celebrate resilience, compassion, and the magic of childhood.

When she isn’t writing, Peni enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and exploring new places.

She lives in Connecticut with her husband Stephen, their golden retriever ZZ, and their rescue cat Camelot.
