Raised in West Texas, 35 plus years of marriage, now call Georgia home. Freelance transcriptionist is the job title I carry now. Past lives include: caregiver to elderly parents, corporate bookkeeper, nanny, kitchen manager, office HR manager, and much more. I call myself a Jill of all Trades. I am a writer at heart, always have been, and until recently, all my story ideas have been on a whiteboard or journal. Time to let the words flow.

I rescue unloved and unwanted animals, not limited to fur and four legs. I am a person who cannot stand to see injustice to anyone or anything and will be the first to step forward and try to make a change. My life's ambition is to create a sanctuary for unwanted souls, both furry and feathers, as well as for people looking for a place to begin again. I believe how others react with animals speaks volumes about their nature. And... animals have healing qualities that amaze most people.
