M. J. Coad

M. J. Coad was born in 1989 in a small Australian town called Seymour, which is a smidge over 100km north of Melbourne. However, during his childhood, as an army brat, he moved frequently and has never considered Seymour to be his home. From an early age, he enjoyed reading and grew up on the fantastical tales of Tolkien, Rowling, Feist, Pratchett, and Martin. To name but a few. Throughout his six years of study at the University of Tasmania, culminating in a Masters of Teaching, he never really knew what he wanted to be, just that it was not a teacher. It was by chance, that he discovered the Critical Role YouTube channel and the world of tabletop RPG’s. The spark of inspiration struck. Deciding to combine his love for reading with the joy he found in playing games, and watching others play them, he began to write, crafting a world of his own.
