Julie McNeill

Julie McNeill is a poet and author living in Glasgow, Scotland. She is the Makar of The Hampden Collection and Poet-in-residence of St Mirren FC Charitable Trust.

Winner of the Burrell Collection Hidden Gems poetry competition and runner up in both Nutmeg Magazine and Glasgow Women’s library Bold Types competitions, her work has been commissioned by the BBC, Scottish Poetry Library and others and appears at festivals, in anthologies online and in print.

Her latest book We Are Scottish Football - a celebration of the history and culture through poetry and photography (photography by Campbell Ramage) is out now published by Luath Press based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
