Cat teaches 2G — second grade — on Oahu, Hawai'i Nei. The makai (sea-facing) playground is alive with Manu-o-Ku, white terns. The kukui nut trees are often home to the most adorable chicks on the planet, who are not raised in nests but on open branches!

For over a decade Cat photographed the makai-playground terns, sharing photos with colleagues and parents. One colleague said, many years ago, "You must DO SOMETHING with your white tern photos!"

In 2024 Cat did. "Fluffy Little Tree Angels" is the first tern tale. Two other tales, "My White Tern Report" and "You Were Born to Fly: Manu-o-Ku Wisdom" will also be available in 2024.

Two books of photography will also be available, "White Tern Photography" and "Manu-o-Ku Photography."

Cat hopes these children's books and books of photographs will introduce readers to the angelic beauty of these birds.
