Dave Edwards

Dave Edwards is a drummer, builder, designer, maker of things, martial artist, father, husband, song writer, and brewer. He has followed many paths of interest while raising his family, rebuilding an old farmhouse, performing with his band, seeing to the needs of the family’s summer camp and stable business while running a construction business in rural Michigan.

Born and raised in rural Indiana, and moving to Michigan when he was nine, Dave accepted the gift of knowledge from both parents, becoming skilled with his hands, working in the family business of summer camps, and learning how to manage a small business. His mother’s passion to become a writer intrigued him and he tried to support her dream, but it wasn’t until recently that his venture into writing was more than a short story or letter writing. He became fully engaged in putting together his father’s story, realizing that the stories we tell our children are perhaps not the only ones we should share.
