Lisa Ackerman

There were only 300 people living in the little Wyoming town of Farson where Lisa grew up. Her favorite pastimes were fishing and camping in the Wyoming mountains. At the age of 27 she found a passion for storytelling through creating interactive treasure hunts for her son and his friends. She began crafting short stories embedded with clues and hints, igniting the children's curiosity and prompting them to embark on adventurous hunts for hidden treasures (located around the house).

As the kids demanded more of her stories Lisa penned her first book, "Switch and the Five Golden Keys," aimed at inspiring children worldwide to embrace the joy of reading. Despite her initial reluctance to share her work, ten years later Lisa found motivation to publish her book from inspirational speaker, Joel Osteen whom she listened to regularly on her daily commute to work. Now, three decades after conceiving the idea, Lisa's dream has finally come to fruition as she proudly shares her interactive tale with children everywhere, hoping to instill in them the same sense of wonder and excitement that fueled her son’s childhood adventures.
