Runnette V Francis

Runnette (Nettie) was born and raised in ‘Philadelphia PA to two Southern parents. She has ten brothers and sisters. Nettie attended public schools and later attended the Community College of Philadelphia. When it was snowing, raining or really cold outside she loved reading novels and books of poems. Nettie started writing short stories at a young age but was too shy to share them with others. One important thing about her is that she has a condition called Alopecia Areata, which she’s had since she was young. Nettie’s goal and focus right now is to write books that makes kids and adults feel inspired, happy and have more understanding about Alopecia, and not feel overwhelmed or different.
