Peggy Morris

Peggy Morris, born and raised in Botswana, grew up with a diverse cultural background thanks to her South African mother. Morris, who holds an MSc in Applied Finance, has years of experience in strategy and analysis, investment analysis, and investor relations, having worked in industries such as financial services, mining, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Her professional trajectory carried her to other countries, where she frequently had to explain the location of her own country. This led her to write "The Secret Jewel," a book about Botswana's investment potential, natural beauty, and distinct charm.

Morris, who now lives in Norway, balances her finance career with storytelling, hoping to bridge the knowledge gap about Botswana and share its wonders with the rest of the world. She is an avid runner who dreams of running marathons across five continents while reflecting on her journey to promote Botswana's message around the world. Morris, who is passionate about data-driven decision-making, believes in the power of data and storytelling, continues to inspire and inform others through her work and writing.
