Linda Clarke is a financial services professional based in New Providence, The Bahamas. She has been a fixture in the financial services industry for twenty five years including a stint in the Bahamas Government sector with the Ministry of Finance. She holds an LLM in International Finance and Banking Law from the University of Liverpool. She also holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Huddersfield. Linda later obtained her Project Management Certification from the International Business Training Association. Linda’s professional accolades include: Lean Six Sigma Practitioner designation, two-time Royal Performance winner for operational soundness and excellence, employee of the year and three-time top sales performer.
Linda became a member of Toastmasters International in December 2020. August 2023, she presented the ‘Toast Talks' session at Toastmasters International Convention, sharing her six week platform on inspiring confidence in public speaking at her workplace. Linda earned her Distinguished Toastmasters Designation, the highest individual award in Toastmasters in September 2023. She was recently elected Division B Director 2024-2025, with responsibility for twenty-two clubs in South Florida. Linda's long term goal is establishing herself as a keynote speaker and faith based life coach for women navigating professional goal setting, motherhood, grief and loss.
Recreationally, Linda is a dedicated distance runner. She has competed in six full marathons and over seventy races in the Bahamas and across North America. She has coached and supported other women in training for distance races for two years using her platform, Run Naturally. Linda’s new focus is serving at her church where her ten year-old son is active in youth ministry. Linda plans to extend her passion for mentoring at her church with the Ladies of Virtue ministry, aimed at mentoring teenage girls.
